Job Description

A'BULAE/Le VENERÉ is a prestigious event venue known for hosting weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings with exceptional service and atmosphere. As a sophisticated venue, it places a strong emphasis on delivering memorable guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence. The establishment values professionalism, teamwork, and high standards in managing its beverage operations, ensuring guests enjoy top-tier service during every event. The venue is well-regarded within the event and hospitality industry, attracting clients seeking quality and attention to detail in all aspects of event planning and execution.

The role of Bar Manager at A'BULAE/Le VENERÉ is a dynamic and hands-on position reporting directly to the General Manager. This position blends leadership, operational management, and active bartending, making it ideal for an experienced bartender who enjoys direct involvement in event execution. The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing beverage operations at the venue, ensuring that bars are excellently stocked, well-organized, and ready for high-volume service during weddings, corporate functions, and other special events.

Approximately 10 to 12 hours each week are devoted to administrative responsibilities, including inventory management, ordering supplies, training and developing bar staff, and thorough event preparation. The remainder of the workweek is dedicated to delivering exceptional bar service, actively bartending, supporting the bartending team during busy periods, and collaborating closely with Banquet Event Managers and Hospitality Planners to ensure seamless event delivery.

This position requires a strong leader who is not only skilled in cocktail creation and beverage management but who can also foster a positive and collaborative team culture. The Bar Manager leads by example, demonstrating professionalism and guest-focused service while coaching and mentoring bartenders and bar support staff. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing specialty beverage offerings and signature cocktails that can be executed efficiently during high-volume event service.

Compliance with venue policies and state liquor regulations is critical in this role, as is maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized bar environment. The Bar Manager ensures all staff certifications are current, upholds responsible alcohol service practices, and maintains compliance records.

This full-time position expects approximately 35 to 40 hours per week, with a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during peak wedding seasons. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, reflecting the expertise and leadership required for this role.

Benefits offered by A'BULAE/Le VENERÉ include a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance, providing a well-rounded package for employee wellbeing and financial security.

In-person work is required at this venue, allowing the Bar Manager to maintain hands-on oversight of all beverage operations and stay actively engaged with guests and staff throughout event delivery. Overall, this role offers the opportunity to lead a passionate team within a renowned event environment, combining creativity, leadership, and operational management to elevate the guest experience.
