This position offers a starting salary of $70,304 per year and is ideal for professionals passionate about contributing to the autism community and supporting individuals with related disabilities. The role, supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), involves providing program management and implementing programmatic changes. It also encompasses delivering specialized behavior intervention services and program supervision targeted at individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related conditions.

The successful candidate will work closely with BCBAs and Behavior Interventionists, providing essential support through assessments, progress reporting, and program development for assigned cases. Key responsibilities include supervising Behavior Interventionists to ensure accurate and reliable data collection, managing program records with precision, and conducting regular fidelity checks to uphold quality standards. The role involves planning and leading monthly progress update meetings with families and program teams, delivering tailored intervention activities, and educating parents on treatment plans. Monitoring the skill acquisition of children and adults with ASD in natural settings is a critical part of this job, ensuring that interventions are effective and aligned with individual needs.

Documentation is a core aspect of the role, requiring the completion of evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and exit summaries to maintain up-to-date participant records. The role also demands ongoing staff training coordination, attendance at various professional meetings, and staying informed about new research, trends, and developments in autism, applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education, and related fields. Maintaining professional and courteous communication with participants and their families is essential, including promptly addressing parental concerns and liaising with supervisors as needed.

This role is well-suited for professionals with a strong foundation in early childhood education, psychology, or special education, combined with a robust clinical, administrative, and leadership skill set. The candidate must be knowledgeable about evidence-based practices and scientifically validated methodologies, particularly those related to ABA and autism intervention strategies such as Pivotal Response Training, Natural Environment Teaching, and the Picture Exchange Communication System. Effective verbal and written communication skills, discretion, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are also vital. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software tools is required.

The role involves moderate physical activity including occasional standing and walking, frequent sitting, and repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, kneeling, and twisting to interact effectively with participants. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally up to 30% of the time are required. The position also necessitates passing a post-offer physical examination and TB test, maintaining CPR certification, and adhering to health and safety guidelines, including proof of required vaccinations and criminal record/fingerprint clearance.
