The Flightline Mechanic A220 role at Airbus US Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama, is an essential position responsible for preparing built aircraft for test flights and delivery readiness. The Flightline Mechanic carries out Functional Test Procedure (FTP), as well as pre- and post-flight inspections to ensure the highest standards of aircraft safety and operational readiness. This includes operating, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting aircraft systems following approved aircraft data and protocols. The successful candidate will utilize a variety of test equipment and specialized tooling while interpreting technical manuals, engineering drawings, and data to carry out tasks accurately and efficiently. They must complete their work within allocated man-hour budgets while adhering to safety regulations, quality guidelines, and cost controls.
