Job Duties
- Assist in preparing raw materials according to receipts or by following supervisor's instructions
- Assist with the preparation of the baking process including forming, cutting, shaping, and baking dough
- Combine measured ingredients using mixing, blending, or cooking machinery
- Ensure products have proper signage and are well-merchandised
- Unload and break down deliveries and arrange stockroom properly
- Stock shelves with products and refill as needed using First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method
- Remove expired products and manage inventory to maintain freshness
- Wrap and pack bakery items accurately and efficiently
- Maintain safe working environments and comply with safety codes
- Coordinate cleanliness and maintenance with Maintenance Department
- Control, safeguard, and monitor department assets
- Handle expired and recalled products properly
- Conduct product demos to promote department sales
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Follow all cash handling procedures and complete check-out processes
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
