The role of a Manager at 7 Brew is pivotal in driving the growth, operational success, and cultural integrity of their assigned location. As the leader of the crew, the Manager assumes full responsibility for ensuring that every aspect of the stand operates smoothly and profitably. This includes not only managing daily shifts but also coaching and training crew members, performing essential administrative tasks, and overseeing inventory and cash handling. The Manager acts as the key point of contact for the crew and reports directly to the Regional Manager, playing a critical role in executing company policies, maintaining quick service times, and fostering a positive work environment.
The ideal Manager at 7 Brew is deeply committed to developing their team by providing regular, constructive feedback, facilitating team bonding activities, and preparing future leaders within the organization. They must skillfully balance operational efficiencies such as labor cost management and inventory control, while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. This role demands flexibility, including working early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as being readily available outside of scheduled hours for coaching and problem resolution. The Manager’s leadership is vital to maintaining the company culture and driving the continuous improvement and overall success of the stand.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- can work a flexible schedule including early mornings and late nights
- can lift up to 50lbs
- can stand comfortably for hours at a time
- can climb a ladder and use a stepladder
- can safely use a utility knife
- can safely walk in between and around cars in the drive thru line
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- must be available by phone or in person to promptly address any needs at the stand
- ability to work outside for prolonged periods regardless of weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment with 40+ team members
- can create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to two minutes at a time
- beginner-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- effectively manages multiple projects and deadlines
- can effectively lead and direct multiple personality types under pressure
- can adapt to problems and implement solutions during stressful situations
- can assertively and graciously confront team members to address operational, procedural, or cultural issues
Job Duties
- Must be proficient in all Brewista and Shift Lead duties and skill sets
- maintains excellent wait times, cleanliness, and customer interactions through training, coaching, and encouragement
- provides regular feedback to each team member on strengths and areas of growth
- works with their crew’s needs and availability to create a weekly shift schedule, maintaining a low cost of labor while ensuring quick wait times and short lines
- tracks and orders necessary inventory, small wares, parts, and equipment, while maintaining a low cost of goods sold through eliminating waste and accurate counting
- ensures appropriate cash handling, deposits, and change for their stand
- facilitates team bonding and development through regular meetings and events for their Shift Leads and Brewistas, in both one-on-one and group contexts
- takes ownership of solutions, whether through solving the problem themselves or looping in an approved partner or vendor
- ensure crew is knowledgeable and meeting all health requirements
- is always developing new leaders to step into upcoming roles, regardless of current or future needs
- promptly implements and communicates directives from upper management
- thoughtfully delegates tasks to their leadership team and Brewistas to facilitate efficiency and appropriate development
