The company prides itself on its innovative approach combined with a strong emphasis on operational excellence and customer satisfaction. With a robust network and advanced technology integration, FedEx Freight supports a wide variety of business needs, offering comprehensive freight management and shipping options that meet the demands of a highly competitive industry.
This role is a leadership position within FedEx Freight focused on overseeing the shipping operations, ensuring that all shipments are moved on time and without damage. The individual must be comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with various business partners to maintain the company’s service standards. Comprehensive knowledge of LTL industry practices, DOT regulations, OSHA laws, hazardous materials regulations, NMFC, and tariff rules is preferred. The role will involve working in a dock environment subject to varied weather, noise, dust, fumes, and requires flexibility with changing work hours due to operational demands.
