FedEx Freight's work environment is predominantly dock-based, exposing employees to various weather conditions, exhaust, fumes, dust, and noise. The position is fast-paced, deadline-driven, and requires frequent coordination with service center personnel. Flexibility with working hours to accommodate operational needs is essential. The Lead role offers an opportunity to be a key contributor in a reputable logistics company, combining leadership responsibilities with hands-on operational management to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. This position is suited for proactive, organized, and multi-tasking-oriented professionals with a knowledge of the LTL industry and logistics operations.
