Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to travel as needed
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Preferred knowledge of LTL industry, DOT rules and regulations, OSHA laws, hazardous materials regulations, NMFC and tariff rules
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and use of Internet
Job Qualifications
- Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to travel as needed

- Thorough knowledge of LTL industry, DOT rules and regulations, OSHA laws, hazardous materials regulations, NMFC and tariff rules, preferred
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Multi-task oriented and possess good organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet
Job Duties
- Lead, manage, educate and develop company employees focusing on retention and growth
- Supervise and direct employee work including pre-shifts focusing on quality, customer deliverables and safety performance
- Actively monitor, record and educate employees regarding unsafe acts and conditions correcting immediately with corrective action
- Plan daily manpower needs and set schedules to ensure timely and damage-free freight delivery
- Communicate job assignments coordinating with employees ensuring clear and concise direction
- Monitor service freight and ensure cut time compliance
- Monitor, analyze and address opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies while maintaining safety
- Assist customers with rate quotes, claim information and setting appointments
- Monitor and report actual performance data
- Build relationships and positive communications with business partners to meet service standards
- Identify freight moving at incorrect weight and classification
- Ensure all OS&D is identified and processed properly
- Perform administrative functions as required
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as required
