Job Description

Odell Brewing Company is a prominent craft brewery established in 1989, renowned for fostering a culture centered around family, collaboration, and an unwavering passion for beer. Located in Colorado, Odell Brewing prides itself on being independent and employee-owned, which drives its commitment to quality, innovation, and exceptional customer service. The company is deeply invested in its community, contributing through outreach and charitable giving programs, and prioritizing a workplace culture where education, ownership, and creativity flourish. This vibrant brewery culture emphasizes handcrafted brews, innovative brewing techniques, and maintaining Colorado at its core as a symbol of local pride and authenticity.

The role available is the Five Points Taproom Events Manager, a key leadership position responsible for the operational success, team development, and guest experience across Odell Brewing’s Two Denver locations: the Five Points and Sloan’s Lake taprooms. This full-time position is part of the company’s strategic efforts as they transition the Five Points taproom into a Brewpub model, paving the way for an elevated hospitality experience that complements Odell’s established brand. Serving as the operational and community engagement leader for the taproom, the Events Manager ensures a safe, efficient, and hospitality-focused environment reflecting Odell’s core values of quality, community, and innovation.

This role involves managing daily taproom operations such as point-of-sale updates, inventory controls, and vendor coordination, while also safeguarding compliance with health, safety, and legal standards. Leadership responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and coaching team members to build a knowledgeable, inclusive, and engaged staff imbued with a strong sense of hospitality. This position demands a visible, active floor presence during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and special events, helping to cultivate customer loyalty and a memorable guest experience.

Moreover, the Events Manager serves as the primary driver for taproom traffic and revenue through creative community events and marketing initiatives. This includes overseeing private event rentals, coordinating with social media teams, creating marketing assets, and collaborating with multiple departments such as Marketing, Outreach, and Production. Financial stewardship is also central to this role, managing budgets, profit and loss performance, and identifying process improvements to maximize operational efficiency and long-term growth.

The ideal candidate for this role functions as a business owner with a collaborative spirit and the ability to challenge conventions thoughtfully. Strong marketing, strategic planning, customer service, and team management skills are essential. Proficiency in digital tools like Google Suite and Canva is preferred. The schedule consists of Tuesday through Saturday shifts, with required availability on nights and weekends to meet business needs in a high-volume environment. This position offers a competitive salary range of $58,000 to $65,000, combined with a comprehensive benefits package including stock ownership, medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, and more.

This opportunity provides a dynamic and rewarding platform for experienced restaurant or brewery managers passionate about craft beer and community engagement, committed to upholding Odell Brewing’s reputation for quality and innovation while driving exciting new developments at the Five Points taproom.
