Job Duties
- Responsible for adding goods into their correct mass flow containers and preparing them for disbursement
- cleans and prepares containers before placing goods in them
- inspects materials and products for defects and to ensure conformance to specifications
- weighs or measures materials or products to ensure conformance to specifications
- identifies and marks materials, products, and samples following instructions
- records production and operational information and data on specified forms
- modifies materials and products during manufacturing process to meet requirements
- moves controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment
- feeds materials into machines and equipment to process and manufacture products
- loads materials and products into machines and equipment using hand tools and moving devices
- removes materials and products from machines and equipment using hand tools and moving devices
- off bears materials and products from machines and equipment using hand tools
- performs all other duties required in the packing and feeder position
