Job Description

RLC is currently seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Concierge to join their team and contribute to maintaining a secure, welcoming, and well-managed community during overnight hours. This role is essential in ensuring the community is safe, clean, and prepared for the next day, providing residents peace of mind throughout the night. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for helping others. The position is full-time, with shifts scheduled from Thursday to Monday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. As the 3rd Shift Concierge, the selected individual will be responsible for monitoring safety systems including fire alarms, responding promptly and professionally to emergencies, and maintaining exceptional cleanliness in shared spaces including restrooms, bistros, and lounges. Additional responsibilities include administrative support such as scheduling transportation and managing room-service requests, providing valet services, welcoming new residents, and assisting with event setup and alcohol service. This position plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression for residents, guests, and families arriving during overnight hours.

Job Requirements

  • at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • able to valet park vehicles safely
  • able to work Thursday-Monday 11:00pm to 7:30am
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • strong problem-solving organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • previous customer service experience
  • professional appearance
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • adaptable and flexible to shifting priorities
  • team-oriented with a proactive approach and attention to detail
  • knowledge of the local community preferred
  • intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • must meet local alcohol service requirements and obtain food handler permits within two weeks of hire

Job Duties

  • maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the community including vacuuming sweeping mopping and sanitizing high-touch surfaces
  • respond calmly and quickly to emergencies and coordinate with emergency responders
  • support community safety by monitoring building systems and following emergency protocols
  • assist with administrative support tasks such as taking room-service requests selling meal tickets and scheduling transportation
  • support community operations by walking the community noticing and reporting concerns assisting with event setup and providing responsible alcohol service
  • create memorable first impressions by greeting residents families and guests and offering courteous valet services
  • welcome new residents by introducing yourself
