Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a prominent, fast-growing, family-owned company that operates over 60 communities nationwide, dedicated to serving seniors with a heartfelt mission. RLC stands apart by fostering a culture deeply rooted in their Core Values: Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. These values are not just words but guide every interaction and decision, creating a close-knit community where both employees and residents thrive. Their approach is holistic, aiming to achieve four essential goals that drive their continuing success: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. This combination of a strong operational model and a values-driven culture has made RLC a leader in senior living, providing exceptional service within beautiful, resort-style environments tailored to promote comfort, security, and a high quality of life for their community members.

The role of the 3rd Shift Concierge at RLC embodies the company’s commitment to service excellence and community well-being. This is a critical overnight position that ensures the community remains safe, orderly, and welcoming during the quietest hours. The 3rd Shift Concierge takes on responsibilities that range from maintaining exceptional cleanliness and performing routine upkeep tasks to providing emergency response and administrative support. Candidates for this role need to be highly dependable, attentive, and proactive. Their presence contributes significantly to residents’ peace of mind, delivering the assurance that help and support are available at all hours. Working from 11:00pm to 7:30am, Thursday through Monday, this role demands alertness and a strong sense of responsibility. The shift ends with a spotless, secure environment, fully prepared for the next day’s activities.

Beyond basic duties, the concierge plays a vital role in creating memorable first impressions through courteous, professional interactions with residents, families, and guests. This includes managing valet parking, greeting new residents warmly, and addressing any immediate concerns with tact and efficiency. The position also supports community safety by overseeing building systems such as fire alarms, coordinating with emergency responders during incidents, and ensuring compliance with emergency protocols. Administrative responsibilities include logging service requests, scheduling transportation, and maintaining organized records, requiring intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and adaptability, as priorities can shift rapidly in a dynamic community environment.

This full-time position offers competitive compensation and extensive benefits designed to support the well-being of employees. These benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; disability benefits; and various savings accounts such as HSA and FSA, bolstered by a $341 benefit stipend per pay period. Employees also enjoy paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and the unique opportunity to access their pay anytime, underscoring RLC’s dedication to employee satisfaction and financial flexibility. Working at RLC means joining a family-oriented company that values each team member’s contributions and offers a purposeful role where you can genuinely make a difference every day.
