The company is currently seeking to fill a key position in its Bakery Operations department: the 3rd Shift Bakery Roll Oven Proofer. This role plays a crucial part in the Bread Department, particularly focusing on the proper proofing and baking of bakery rolls during the overnight shift, from 9:55 PM to 6:00 AM. The position offers a competitive base hourly rate of $29.11, with potential hours varying in accordance with production schedules, especially during holidays. Flexibility for overtime is expected to meet business demands, with start and end times that may be adjusted accordingly. The Bakery Roll Oven Proofer is responsible for operating and adjusting oven and proofing settings, ensuring consistent product quality through adherence to established Quality Systems procedures. This includes maintaining data collection, graphs, and reports vital for continuous quality monitoring. The operator will also set up and manage topping equipment, supporting the entire plant’s safety protocols, quality initiatives, SAP systems, 5S organizational standards, and ongoing continuous improvement efforts. Working collaboratively in a team environment under a positive attitude is essential, as is performing additional duties assigned by supervisors or managers. Candidates chosen for this role will be selected based on their ability to perform essential job functions, demonstrated through physical capacity screening when required, combined with satisfactory attendance, safety, disciplinary, peer relationship, and overall job performance records. Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Duties
- Responsible for proper roll proofing and baking
- Operator will adjust proofing and oven times, temperatures, etc., follow established Quality Systems procedures, and maintain data collection, graphs and reports
- Set-up and operate topping equipment
- Support all plant safety, quality, SAP, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Display a positive attitude and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
