Job Requirements
- Ability to start work at 10:00 PM and work a full 3rd shift
- willingness to work overtime as needed
- capacity to manually handle items at heights up to 16 layers
- commitment to adhering to safety and quality standards
- capability to follow SAP system procedures
- physical fitness for unloading and loading tasks
- ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- previous experience in distribution or warehouse operations is advantageous
- ability to perform physical tasks involving manual lifting and reaching
- familiarity with 5S and continuous improvement concepts
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- positive attitude conducive to collaborative work environment
Job Duties
- Unload truck and store product on the floor
- manually unload stacks of full baskets from the trailer
- pick bakery orders, including manual picking of baskets at vertical heights up to 16 layers high
- load trucks with bakery orders
- maintain a clean work environment
- support plant safety, quality, SAP, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
- serve as 5S leader and participate in all audits
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
