Delta Research and Delta Gear are currently seeking to fill the role of Quality Inspector at their Livonia, Michigan plant. This full-time position plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the company's reputation for quality by performing comprehensive quality inspections and participating in quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections on products, utilizing precision measurement instruments such as coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), micrometers, and calipers. The role requires an individual with thorough knowledge of manufacturing procedures and quality management principles.
Beyond inspection duties, the Quality Inspector will conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with the company’s quality management systems and procedures. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends and recommend areas for quality improvement. The Quality Inspector will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production and engineering, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
The position demands strict adherence to established protocols and standard operating procedures to maintain consistency in quality assurance activities. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in quality assurance or manufacturing preferred
- ability to use precision measuring instruments
- basic knowledge of quality management systems
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills

Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality assurance or a related field preferred
