This particular role is for a Hotel Host at Hyatt Place, a unique concept within the Hyatt portfolio that offers a relaxed style with exceptional service standards. The Hotel Host is integral to the hotel’s mission of providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that feels like a “larger than home” experience for guests. Responsible for managing various guest areas, including the Hotel Host Stand, Bakery Café, Guest Kitchen, e-room, and TV den, the Hotel Host ensures all guests receive attentive and personalized service. This position includes facilitating guest check-in and check-out processes and supporting the servicing of meeting rooms, creating a seamless and enjoyable stay.
The ideal candidate for this role brings prior customer service experience, ideally from a hotel or related field, and exhibits strong communication skills in English. Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for morning and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays, is essential to meet the demands of this fast-paced role. The ability to multi-task, learn quickly, and interact positively with guests is crucial to success. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable performing moderate physical tasks such as lifting or pushing items weighing at least 20 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with basic computer proficiency, enabling the Hotel Host to efficiently handle various administrative tasks.

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Flexible schedule availability including AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs)
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced guest interaction environment
- True desire to satisfy the needs of others
- Must possess basic computer skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferably in hotel or related field
- Strong command of the English language including speaking, reading and writing
- Basic computer skills such as Word and Excel
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
