The Distribution Center Coordinator role at Saks Global in Pittston, Pennsylvania, plays a vital part in ensuring merchandise is efficiently processed and dispatched to its intended destinations. This onsite, full-time position is primarily focused on the 2nd shift schedules—Inbound shift runs from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, while the Outbound shift is from Sunday to Thursday, 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM. The starting pay begins at $19.00 per hour, with adjustments for 2nd shift work, recognizing the value contributed by employees during these hours. Within this role, the coordinator is entrusted with managing receipt and shipment of merchandise, working closely with the leadership team to resolve issues, and maintaining precise inventory accuracy. This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but requires a higher skill set, including problem-solving abilities, inventory verification, and compliance with safety standards.

As a Distribution Center Coordinator, you will carry out a variety of critical tasks, including processing merchandise, handling materials, and resolving operational problems efficiently. You’ll prioritize freight to meet daily operational goals while verifying the accuracy of all received merchandise against shipping manifests. Safety and housekeeping within the distribution center are integral parts of the role, ensuring a clean and hazard-free workplace that meets the company’s high standards.
