The Concierge role at The VUE Charlotte is a vital position responsible for fostering a polished, high-touch resident experience that embodies the brand's commitment to luxury and exceptional service. This role serves as the cornerstone of community interaction, acting as the first point of contact for residents and guests and ensuring that every interaction is infused with attentiveness, professionalism, and a welcoming spirit. The Concierge's primary responsibilities include managing concierge desk operations with accuracy and discretion, coordinating seamlessly between residents and onsite teams to fulfill service requests, and maintaining a visible and approachable presence in the lobby to balance hospitality with security awareness. This position requires a natural service-driven individual who is approachable, detail-oriented, and capable of anticipating resident needs to provide personalized service. The Concierge is essential in setting the tone for the community, creating an environment where residents feel recognized, valued, and supported.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality customer service or related field preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Availability to work 2:30 PM to 11 PM schedule with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously with good judgment
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality customer service luxury retail or service environments with elevated standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to anticipate and meet resident needs

Job Duties

  • Manage concierge desk operations including packages and guest access with accuracy and discretion
  • Act as a central point of coordination between residents and onsite teams to ensure seamless service execution
  • Maintain visibility in the lobby balancing hospitality presence with awareness of building activity
  • Create a consistent polished experience by recognizing residents and anticipating their needs
  • Handle resident requests with judgement and follow-through ensuring issues are resolved without escalation
