Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a rapidly expanding, family-owned company with over 60 communities nationwide, dedicated to serving seniors with a heartfelt commitment. Known for its beautiful, resort-style living environments, RLC emphasizes core values that include Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. The company's mission revolves around maintaining Happy Employees, Happy Residents, Full Occupancy, and On-Budget Operations, ensuring a thriving and supportive community atmosphere for both residents and team members. Employees at RLC become part of a close-knit, servant-hearted family where making a positive difference daily is a rewarding and fulfilling experience.
The 2nd Shift Concierge role at RLC serves as the welcoming face of the community during the afternoon and evening hours, specifically covering the Thursday through Monday shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. This dynamic and hands-on position is essential to providing excellent customer service, acting as the primary point of contact at the front desk, and proactively supporting residents, families, guests, and staff. The role involves a variety of responsibilities—including greeting and assisting residents and visitors, managing administrative tasks, ensuring building safety, and delivering valet parking services—making it both a customer-facing and operationally vital function.
Candidates for this role must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, capable of safely performing valet parking duties. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with previous customer service experience and a professional appearance. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills are essential for succeeding in this fast-paced environment, as is the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel is needed, alongside effective communication skills in English. Additionally, the successful candidate must meet local alcohol service requirements and obtain required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
Working at RLC means accessing competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, healthcare support, and retirement plans with employer matching. Employees receive a $341 benefit stipend each pay period that can be applied toward health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, health savings and flexible spending accounts, accident and hospital indemnity plans, and legal and identity theft protection. The company also offers the flexibility to access pay anytime, fostering financial well-being for employees.
Joining RLC as a 2nd Shift Concierge is an opportunity to support seniors in a purpose-driven, meaningful role within a beautiful community setting. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who values teamwork and is committed to enhancing the resident experience. If you’re ready to bring your servant heart and help create a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for seniors, RLC invites you to apply today and become part of a supportive team that feels like family.
