Job Description

With over 60 vibrant communities nationwide, RLC is dedicated to providing seniors an exceptional lifestyle experience through beautiful, resort-style environments and a close-knit, servant-hearted community culture. Guided by core values such as respect, honesty, kindness and compassion, and service excellence, the organization fosters a supportive and enriching work atmosphere where employees and residents thrive together. At RLC, serving seniors is more than a job; it’s a meaningful vocation that emphasizes making a positive difference in the lives of residents and their families.

Working at Resort Lifestyle Communities means joining a purposeful team that strives toward four essential goals - happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. RLC supports these goals with strong leadership, competitive benefits, and an inclusive culture that treats coworkers like family. Employees are empowered to contribute to a mission of compassionate service in a dynamic, engaging environment that embraces growth and care.

About the role

This position operates from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Thursday through Monday, and demands a versatile and hands-on team member who thrives in a fast-paced setting. The 2nd Shift Concierge is responsible for greeting residents, families, and guests, answering phone calls, providing valet parking services, and addressing resident needs proactively and with warmth. Beyond front desk reception, this role requires mobility and adaptability to assist various departments and tasks throughout the community.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate previous customer service experience coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail, a professional appearance, and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure are essential traits. Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred, as is knowledge of local community resources.

As a safety-aware role, the 2nd Shift Concierge will oversee critical building safety systems, respond swiftly to emergencies, and assist residents during fire alarms or severe weather events. Administrative duties such as managing transportation scheduling, guest suite reservations, and record-keeping are also vital components of this position. The successful candidate must meet local alcohol service requirements and obtain food handler permits within the first two weeks of employment.

This full-time position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous stipend towards health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and more. Employees enjoy paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, and the flexibility of accessing pay anytime.
