Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a prominent family-owned company that operates more than 60 senior living communities across the nation. Our organization is purpose-driven and committed to serving seniors with utmost respect, kindness, and compassion. At RLC, we foster a close-knit, servant-hearted environment where our Core Values guide every aspect of our work: Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. This foundation ensures that our residents experience not just comfort and care, but a supportive community where their needs are prioritized, and their lifestyles enriched.
RLC is dedicated to achieving essential goals that fuel our success, including ensuring happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy of our communities, and maintaining operations within budget. This holistic approach promotes a positive and thriving living environment for seniors and a rewarding workplace for our team members.
We are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Concierge to join our dynamic team. This role is vital as it represents the welcoming face of our community during the second shift, where the concierge acts as a key point of contact for residents, families, and guests. The 2nd Shift Concierge will greet visitors warmly, answer phones promptly, and provide hands-on support wherever needed. This multifaceted position requires not only excellent communication and customer service skills but also the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining safety and service excellence.
As a member of RLC, the 2nd Shift Concierge plays an indispensable role in creating a welcoming atmosphere through valet parking and front desk services, responding to emergencies, and supporting community operations such as event setup and dining room coverage. This role also requires administrative proficiency for tasks like scheduling transportation, managing guest suite reservations, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, the concierge helps ensure the safety and security of the community by overseeing building safety systems and locking or unlocking exterior doors at prescribed times.
We value a team-oriented approach and expect our 2nd Shift Concierge to be adaptable and flexible with shifting priorities, ready to assist across various departments as necessary. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) is important, as is a general knowledge of the local community. Since the role involves service of alcohol and food, the successful candidate must meet local alcohol service requirements and obtain food handler permits promptly upon hire.
At RLC, this full-time position offers competitive compensation complemented by an attractive benefits package, including a $341 benefit stipend per pay period applicable towards health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and other essential protections. Additional benefits include paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and the flexibility to access your pay anytime. By joining Resort Lifestyle Communities, you become part of a fast-growing and supportive company that values making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors every day.
