Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a family-owned company that has experienced rapid growth with over 60 communities nationwide. Specializing in resort-style senior living, RLC is deeply committed to enhancing the lives of its residents by fostering a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home. As an organization, RLC prioritizes core values such as respect, honesty, kindness and compassion, and service excellence, building a community where both employees and residents can thrive. The company's mission goes beyond providing senior living accommodations; it aims to create an atmosphere that promotes happiness among employees and residents alike, maintains full occupancy, and ensures operations remain on budget, reflecting a balanced and efficient approach to its business model.

Positioned within this vibrant and supportive environment, the 2nd Shift Concierge is a dynamic, hands-on role that serves as the welcoming face of the community during the afternoon and evening hours. This position plays a crucial part in creating positive first impressions, acting as the first point of contact for residents, families, guests, and vendors. Beyond acting as the front desk liaison, the 2nd Shift Concierge will also be on their feet, providing versatile support in various operational areas as needed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, possesses excellent communication skills, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to seniors and their families.

The 2nd Shift Concierge is responsible for valet parking services, ensuring vehicles are parked safely while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. This position also handles emergency responses, monitors resident call systems, and supports building safety protocols including fire alarms and severe weather procedures. Additionally, the Concierge manages administrative responsibilities such as transportation scheduling, guest suite coordination, and maintaining detailed records to uphold the community's high standards.

Teamwork and flexibility are key qualities for success in this role. The Concierge is expected to assist with dining room coverage during busy periods, event set-up, responsible alcohol service, and general support of community operations. Maintaining building cleanliness and security is also an essential part of the role, as is helping new residents with orientation to facilitate their smooth transition into the community. This multifaceted role supports RLC's commitment to excellence and compassionate service, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a meaningful career in senior living. The work schedule is Thursday through Monday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, demanding dependability and a positive attitude.

By joining Resort Lifestyle Communities as a 2nd Shift Concierge, team members become part of a servant-hearted community dedicated to making a positive impact every day. The role offers competitive compensation and benefits, including access to pay anytime, a $341 benefit stipend per pay period to apply toward health, dental, and vision plans, life insurance, disability insurance, health savings accounts, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with employer match. Employees also enjoy the support of leadership in a resort-style environment that values each individual's contribution and encourages professional growth. This is more than a job - it is a chance to bring your servant heart to a place that truly feels like family and make a lasting difference in the lives of seniors.
