Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a prominent, fast-growing, family-owned company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for seniors across more than 60 communities nationwide. Known for its supportive leadership and beautiful, resort-style environments, RLC places an emphasis on creating a positive, welcoming lifestyle for residents. The company champions a servant-hearted culture guided by core values that include respect, honesty, kindness and compassion, and service excellence. These values underpin every interaction and service, ensuring that both employees and residents enjoy a nurturing, collaborative community experience.
At RLC, the focus is on four essential goals that drive the company's success: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. By fostering an environment where these goals are prioritized, RLC ensures that the communities not only provide high-quality senior living options but also create a workplace where employees feel valued and supported. This commitment results in well-managed, vibrant communities where residents thrive and employees contribute meaningfully to their well-being.
The 2nd Shift Concierge role at Resort Lifestyle Communities is vital in sustaining the welcoming, service-oriented atmosphere that defines these communities. Serving as the first point of contact for residents, families, guests, and vendors, the 2nd Shift Concierge provides not only a warm greeting but also practical assistance and support during evening hours from Thursday through Monday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. This role is dynamic and hands-on, requiring flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
This position demands responsibility and vigilance, including valet parking duties, answering phones, managing emergencies, and supporting community operations. The 2nd Shift Concierge helps oversee building safety systems and emergency procedures, administers various administrative duties, and supports dining and event activities. In addition, maintaining a clean, secure environment and assisting new residents through orientation contribute to a smooth, hospitable community experience.
Ideal candidates are at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record to safely valet park vehicles. They possess a high school diploma or equivalent, strong problem-solving abilities, and previous customer service experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and effective communication skills in English are essential. Moreover, flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach ensure that the concierge can adapt to changing priorities and complete tasks reliably and precisely.
Full-time employees enjoy competitive compensation and benefits including pay access anytime, a benefit stipend to allocate toward health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and more. Paid time off and a 401(k) plan with employer match further support employee well-being. The role embodies a purpose-driven opportunity where employees make a real difference each day in a family-like, supportive atmosphere. Joining Resort Lifestyle Communities means becoming part of a mission that values respect, kindness, and compassionate service excellence while contributing to senior residents’ quality of life.
