Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education
  • Minimum two years cooking experience
  • Some culinary training preferred
  • Food Safe Certificate
  • First Aid with CPR and AED certification
  • Ability to adhere to sanitation and safety protocols
  • Effective time management skills

Job Duties

  • Manage food production for all meal services
  • Prepare food items using predetermined quality methods
  • Set up station with required mise en place for meal functions
  • Adhere to provincial and federal sanitation and safety practices
  • Assist with food preparation and service duties as assigned by Executive Chef or First Cook
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and consistent food production
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
