Job Description
This position is part of our Summer Season, requiring availability from Mid-May through Labor Day. Applicants must be able to commit to working during this entire time frame. This role is available for individuals aged 16 and older. The hiring establishment operates primarily in the food service industry within a park setting, focusing on guest satisfaction, safety, and compliance with operational standards. The company prioritizes a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all visitors while maintaining strict adherence to health codes and internal procedures. The primary responsibility for this position is to ensure the efficient operation of an assigned food stand location within the park. This includes handling food orders, performing food preparation duties, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. The role demands a friendly and professional approach to customer service, ensuring each guest is greeted warmly and served promptly. Proper food handling procedures must be followed diligently to comply with health and safety standards. Employees will be expected to operate various types of food equipment safely while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Additional responsibilities encompass maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the menu, recipes, and pricing; completing time and temperature logs hourly; executing opening and closing procedures for the food stand; restocking and organizing the work area; and managing guest dining areas, utensils, and equipment cleanliness. Staff members must also be familiar with operational policies related to vouchers, wristbands, and other internal park features.
This role requires an individual who can work effectively under pressure during the busy summer season, upholding the highest standards of guest service and safety. Continuous improvement and adherence to all company guidelines, including safety training and injury prevention measures, are essential. Reporting any issues regarding guest concerns, equipment operation, or food preparation promptly to supervisors is expected. - Completion of Food & Beverage Food Safety training and Allergen training
- Completion of TIPS alcohol training, if applicable
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance by following grooming and uniform standards

Job Duties
- Follow proper food handling procedures per Food Handling SOP
- Take and fill guest orders and requests in a timely and friendly manner
- Maintain food stand cleanliness per Cleaning and Sanitation SOP
- Operate a variety of food equipment according to Safety Training Plan while using required PPE
- Understand time and temperature sheets and complete hourly
- Prepare and serve food that complies with expected quality, quantity, presentation and state health code requirements
- Report any issues to Command Base or supervisor
