The company is known for its commitment to creating inclusive environments where every employee can thrive, fostering equal employment opportunities, and promoting growth and development. Rooted in service and united by its purpose, Aramark believes in making a positive impact on its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. Their culinary experiences are designed to empower students to succeed by providing healthy, nutritious meals and excellent dining experiences.

The Food Service Manager position is an integral management role within Aramark's Student Nutrition program, focused on developing and implementing customized dining solutions that meet the tastes and needs of customers. This role oversees operations in settings where customers order prepared foods from a menu, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction. Being part of Aramark’s Management Accelerator Program (MAP), this position is ideal for recent graduates eager to quickly advance their careers by gaining hands-on leadership experience from day one. MAP blends operational responsibilities with people management, professional coaching, mentorship, and community engagement, shaping future leaders in the food service industry.

The Food Service Manager leads a team to meet client expectations, drives financial and operational excellence, ensures compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and fosters a positive work environment by recognizing and developing team members. With an annual salary of $55,000, this full-time role offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k) retirement savings plans, parental leave, disability coverage, and other work-life resources depending on location. Candidates must be recent graduates with a degree preferably in hospitality, business, culinary arts, food service, or facilities management, possess excellent communication skills, be flexible with working hours, and be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

By joining Aramark through the MAP, candidates are offered a unique opportunity to chart their own leadership journey, whether that means continuing in their initial role, exploring different business lines, relocating, or transitioning between operations and functional roles. This program fosters growth in a dynamic, people-first environment designed to build confidence, sharpen skills, and deliver impactful career acceleration. Aramark’s promise is to empower every employee to reach their full potential while delivering quality dining experiences that nourish and inspire communities.
