- prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- ability to follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment
- capability to operate assembly and related machines

Job Duties
- Aid in the manufacture and shipment of quality products by transferring materials cleaning painting plant equipment guard rails floor lines storage racks conveyors production offices locker rooms rest rooms and related equipment within production areas
- remove sweep shovel inside or outside of facilities as determined by supervision
- assist other employees for breaks injuries sickness tardiness absenteeism or vacation personal days
- operate monitor and inspect assembly machines tools dip tanks paint lines impregnators and other related equipment
- assist and accomplish set-up and material handling perform minor troubleshooting ensure efficient productivity
- pack inspect and prepare products for shipment or transfer
- operate moving hauling and storing equipment
- follow proper safety procedures and wear prescribed safety equipment
- report work performed findings or results of inspections and time and materials used
- maintain work area clean and return materials tools to proper storage remove waste and debris after tasks
- report injuries unsafe acts conditions or equipment failures immediately to supervisor
- perform duties to ensure uninterrupted operation and a clean safe workplace
- actively participate in company initiatives to improve efficiency eliminate waste and improve quality
- visually and dimensionally inspect products using precision instruments perform tests audits and record findings report findings maintain certifications for contract work
- operate grinding conveying cleaning pressing buffing and associated machines and equipment operate qualifying equipment inspect and sort castings
- wear earplugs and personal protective equipment at all times including hard hat safety glasses and steel toe shoes
- willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
