The role available is crucial to the manufacturing and shipment processes within Victaulic’s production environment. This position focuses on supporting quality manufacturing by performing essential tasks such as transferring, cleaning, and painting equipment and facilities within production areas. The candidate will be involved in operating assembly machines, tools, paint lines, impregnators, and other related equipment to help produce finished products. Additionally, duties include packaging, inspecting, and preparing products for shipment, as well as moving materials safely and efficiently. Safety is a key priority in this role, with strict adherence to prescribed safety equipment and protocols, including the use of hard hats, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and earplugs.
This position also includes responsibilities such as maintaining clean work areas, reporting any unsafe conditions or injuries, and contributing to ongoing company initiatives aimed at improving workplace efficiency and quality. - ability to follow safety protocols consistently
- physical ability to perform cleaning, painting, lifting, and operating machinery

Job Qualifications

- experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred
- ability to operate and monitor assembly and painting equipment
- knowledge of safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment

Job Duties
- Aid in the manufacture and shipment of quality products by transferring, cleaning, painting plant equipment, guard rails, floor lines, storage racks, conveyors, production offices, locker rooms, rest rooms, and related equipment
- remove, sweep, and shovel inside or outside facilities as directed
- operate, monitor, and inspect assembly machines, tools, dip tanks, paint lines, impregnators, and other related equipment
- assist or accomplish set-up and material handling
- perform minor troubleshooting
- pack, inspect, and prepare products for shipment or transfer
- operate moving, hauling and storing equipment
- follow proper safety procedures and wear prescribed safety equipment
- report work performed, findings, and materials used
- maintain neat and clean work area
- report any injury, unsafe act or condition, or failure of plant equipment
- assure uninterrupted facility operation and continuation of the company as a safe workplace
- participate in company initiatives like SRP and VPDS to improve efficiency and quality
- inspect products visually and dimensionally using precision instruments
- perform tests and audits and maintain proper certifications
- operate grinding, conveying, cleaning, pressing, buffing equipment
- inspect and sort castings
- wear personal protective equipment at all times
- work overtime and weekend shifts as required
