Delaware North is currently seeking part-time Cooks to join its culinary team at Lambeau Field. This role is designed for motivated individuals who have an interest in food preparation and a passion for contributing to a memorable guest experience. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food orders with strict adherence to quality, portion control, safety standards, and departmental rules. The position demands a collaborative spirit as you will communicate closely with serving team members to ensure seamless service delivery. Your duties will include maintaining workstation cleanliness, organizing inventory, performing opening and closing duties, and managing waste control by documenting spoilage accurately. Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years of age
- physical ability to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat
- ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift in moderate to high noise levels
- manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip foods and liquids, and operate kitchen equipment
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 6 months to 1 year previous experience in back-of-the-house food service position preferred
- ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
- familiarity and experience with knife handling preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills
- ability to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions
Job Duties
- prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
- ensure proper food temperatures are maintained
- store food correctly
- maintain freshness and quality of all menu items
- package all products to proper specifications
- keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked
- use waste control guidelines and record all waste
- perform opening, closing, and side work duties
- conduct end-of-day inventory
