Northern Quest Resort and Casino integrates luxury accommodations with a wide variety of dining options, entertainment venues, and gaming facilities to create a premier destination for both leisure and business travelers.
Northern Quest is currently seeking dynamic and customer-focused Guest Services Associates (GSAs) to join their team. This role is pivotal in delivering the renowned Kalispel hospitality, combining friendly and attentive guest service with operational efficiency and teamwork. Employment is typically part-time or full-time with scheduling flexibility to accommodate business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position requires a commitment to maintaining cleanliness, order, and service excellence within the dining area while ensuring compliance with all tribal and organizational policies.
The Guest Services Associate is responsible for initial guest greetings, seating guests promptly while utilizing the server rotation system within the Dine Time platform, and fostering a warm and welcoming environment through smile and professionalism. The role also includes assisting with food running to guarantee timely delivery, resetting tables efficiently, performing side work to maintain a neat and adequately stocked workspace, and effectively resolving guest complaints or issues by escalating to management when necessary. This job offers opportunities for interaction with internal teams and training sessions designed to enhance skills and service standards.
Attention to detail in daily and seasonal menu knowledge, dish plating, and guest communication are essential elements of the job. The GSA also participates in internal processes such as panelist duties for Internal Review Hearings if required. Physical demands include the ability to lift or move items up to 25 pounds and perform various tasks involving standing, walking, and manual dexterity. The position requires certification under Washington State's Mandatory Alcohol Server Training, a valid health card, Hepatitis A vaccination, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit 2.
Northern Quest Resort and Casino prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, encouraging diversity, and ensuring all applicants are fully informed of their rights under federal employment laws. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry, eager to contribute to a team-oriented environment, and committed to the highest levels of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
