Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and stock items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow operational policies and safety procedures
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service
- Pre-employment background check may be required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with customers
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience in team leadership or training is a plus
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health department and weights and measures requirements
- Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with customers
- Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of both Bashas' and Starbucks
- Maintain a calm exterior presence during high volume or unusual events
- Anticipate customer and store needs
- Follow Bashas' operational policies and procedures including cash handling, safety and security
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments
- Assist with new member training and provide respectful and encouraging coaching
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
