Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to perform duties including standing, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, keyboarding, telephone use, walking and bending
- Eligible to work legally in the country
- For positions that serve alcohol, must be at least 21 years of age
- Internal candidates must have leader recommendation and HR approval if applicable
- Willingness to accept part-time positions if necessary
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bakery or cake decorating preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong artistic skills in cake decoration
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle physical demands such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Icing sheet cakes and decorating with spatulas, icing bags and icing tips per customer order or at decorators' discretion
- Providing memorable customer service during daily customer interactions
- Preparation of food, including baking bread, decorating cookies, creating fresh offerings
- Sharing food knowledge with customers
- Cleaning, food safety, safety, and sanitation
- Day to day production, merchandising, and quality control of all department offerings
- Stocking, rotating, and merchandising department products
- All other related duties as assigned
