Discovery Management Group is currently seeking a Concierge to join their dedicated team. This position plays a key role in providing a warm, professional welcome to guests, residents, and employees, serving as the first point of contact who upholds the company’s reputation for exceptional customer service. The Concierge is responsible for managing both external and internal calls efficiently, handling inquiries, taking messages, and sharing information of a general nature to ensure smooth communication channels within the community.
In addition to telephone answering and reception duties, the Concierge greets residents and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner. This role includes giving directions, handling appointment scheduling for residents and family members with services like hairdresser visits and transportation, and maintaining various logs and registers that are essential for day-to-day operations such as the Resident Phone List, Roster, and Move-In/Move-Out Register. The Concierge also assists in marketing efforts by collating brochures and prepares meal tickets and meal count sheets for dining staff, reflecting the multi-faceted nature of the position.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and entry area is a critical aspect of this role, contributing to the overall resident experience. The Concierge organizes and distributes mail efficiently to residents and staff, supports administrative processes by maintaining forms related to miscellaneous credits, and adheres strictly to company personnel and operational policies. This position demands a courteous personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
