Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- leadership and decision-making skills are required
- 6 or more months of experience in the sanitation and/or food processing industry
- ability to take direction and instruction from a manager and be accountable for one's own actions
- safety awareness and attention to detail
- ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations

Job Duties
- Work cooperatively with management, team members, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure sanitation procedures are followed
- Maintain open communications with all team members in the plant
- Meet with the supervisor on a regular basis to ensure all issues are being properly handled and addressed, including missing or damaged parts and equipment
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workspace in a designated area of the plant
- Ensure team members in the assigned area are completing job tasks to QA and USDA standards
- Inspect equipment to ensure all areas are clean for pre-op inspections
- Handle chemicals to ensure usage is within specified limits
- Monitor and provide personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Other duties as assigned
