The manufacturing division at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is currently seeking dedicated and skilled Assemblers to join their team in Moorestown, New Jersey. This full-time, hourly, non-exempt position involves working onsite from Monday to Friday with a standard 40-hour work week, providing employees with opportunities to engage in meaningful work that directly contributes to the creation of vital defense and aerospace components. The salary range for this role is approximately $29.66 to $37.04 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to competitive compensation and fair labor standards under applicable collective bargaining agreements.

In this role, Assemblers will be responsible for assembling or integrating parts into subassemblies based on oral or written instructions, utilizing specialized skills such as wire wrapping, soldering, inserting electronic components on circuit boards, and various fastening methods including crimping, soldering, epoxying, bolting, hand staking, tinning, riveting, bonding, and welding. The position also requires operation of sophisticated machinery including robots, auto crimpers, riveting machines, punches, drills, cleaning equipment like EMC or Detrex, ovens, furnaces, and computer-driven label and marker printers. Assemblers will support microcircuits assembly, perform bead blasting, cleaning, forming parts, labeling, stenciling, marking, key pinning, masking and unmasking, wrapping and unwrapping parts, wire preparation tasks such as forming, lacing, stripping, dressing, and conducting wire continuity tests.

The successful candidate must be a US citizen due to facility security requirements and must obtain the J Standard Solder Certification within the first 30 days of employment.   • Performs bead blast, cleaning and forming parts, labeling, stenciling, marking, key pinning, masking/unmasking, wrapping and unwrapping parts, wire prep including forming and lacing, wire stripping and/or dressing and wire continuity tests
  • Supports microcircuits in assembly
  • Operates machinery such as robots, auto crimpers, riveting machines, punches, drills, cleaners such as EMC or Detrex, ovens, furnaces, and computer driven label and marker printers
