Candidates must have at least one year of recent experience or have completed the FedEx Freight Driver Development Course. The ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is essential. Drivers must be physically capable of handling freight weighing up to 100 pounds and able to endure the physical demands of driving long hours, including exposure to various weather conditions, noise, dust, diesel fumes, and hazardous materials.
