Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must be 21 years of age for positions that serve alcohol
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and stock up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work in a fast-paced food production environment
- basic communication skills
- availability to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food production or manufacturing preferred
- ability to operate machinery and maintain equipment
- knowledge of food safety principles
- excellent customer service skills
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- operating and maintaining tortilla making machines, conveyor belts, mixers and fryers
- mixing masa for tortilla products
- manufacturing and packaging tortillas and snack items like toasted tortilla chips and duros
- ensuring all manufacturing and cooking facilities meet proper food safety and member safety guidelines
- maintaining adequate stock levels to ensure adequate production of Tortilleria products
- merchandise Tortilleria products on shelves, merchandisers and floor displays
- keeping clean neat and orderly work areas, including a well swept production area
