Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and stock items up to 50 pounds
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- strong leadership and supervisory skills
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- experience in food preparation or retail food service
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to operate cash register and scale printer machines
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- basic computer and inventory management skills
Job Duties
- directing department personnel, meeting department's goals and objectives, communicating directly with the store director and Sushi Chefs
- ordering products and supplies to maintain stock levels and merchandising standards
- maintaining a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and team members
- engaging with customers through greetings, offering product information, providing selling suggestions and sampling
- overseeing preparation, serving, and merchandising of all Sushi items
- maintaining open communication with deli/bistro, catering departments, managers, and executive chef
- rotating deli/bistro items for sale, ensuring quality, safety, and shrink control
