Specializing in healthcare administrative roles, Med-Scribe prides itself on offering its candidates opportunities that foster professional growth, diversity of experience, and career stability. Our clients include some of the most prestigious teaching hospitals, especially within the Rochester area, providing an engaging and dynamic work environment for our employees. We focus on delivering excellent support to primary care offices and other medical specialties through well-trained and adaptive personnel.

We are currently seeking experienced Medical Secretaries to join the float team for primary care offices at a top teaching hospital in Rochester. This full-time position offers Monday through Friday day shifts with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek, providing both stability and an opportunity to immerse yourself in a variety of administrative settings. As a Float Medical Secretary, you will have the chance to work with multiple teams and support different departments, which allows for continuous learning and professional development. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on variety and want to avoid the monotony often found in fixed office roles.

In this role, you will take on diverse administrative responsibilities that contribute directly to the efficiency and smooth functioning of patient care. From greeting and registering patients to managing complex scheduling and maintaining meticulous patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, your expertise will be pivotal. You will handle patient inquiries, telephone communications, insurance verification, and billing assistance, as well as collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow. The position offers a unique blend of administrative duties that encourage adaptability, communication skills, and teamwork.

Joining Med-Scribe means you are supported not only with competitive pay but also with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with pet insurance. Additional perks such as paid holidays, paid time off, vacation pay, weekly pay schedules, and a 401(k) plan with employer match enhance the value of working with us. Furthermore, after a six-month commitment, employees may be eligible for enhanced benefits including tuition reimbursement for themselves and their families, demonstrating our dedication to long-term employee success.

This opportunity also includes mileage reimbursement for occasional travel outside Monroe County, which typically occurs only once every three to four weeks, underscoring our commitment to ease and convenience for our float team members. If you are a motivated medical secretary who enjoys supporting patient care while expanding your healthcare administration skillset within a reputable teaching hospital, we encourage you to apply and become part of an exciting and dynamic work environment. Join Med-Scribe, Inc. and start an adventure in healthcare that keeps your career flavorful and fulfilling.
