Woodstock's Pizza is a renowned pizzeria chain established in 1977, with its first location near Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Founded by Chuck Woodstock, the restaurant aimed to create a fun, student-oriented environment offering exceptional pizzas made with a unique, zesty marinara sauce.

From the outset, Woodstock's emphasized fresh, hand-tossed dough and a distinctive folded-over crust filled with sauce, setting it apart from competitors. The commitment to generous toppings ensured that each bite was flavorful and satisfying.

History and Expansion

The success of the original location led to rapid expansion. In 1980, Chuck partnered with Mike Chew to open a second restaurant in San Luis Obispo, California. By 1982, they had established a presence in Isla Vista, near the University of California, Santa Barbara.

The following year, they expanded to Chico, California, where Woodstock's Pizza became a beloved institution among students and locals alike.

Tragically, in 1985, Chuck and Mike passed away in a private plane crash, leaving the company in the hands of their families. Jeff Ambrose, involved since the early days, was promoted to President.

In 2001, Jeff and his wife, Laura, acquired all five California restaurants, solidifying their commitment to the brand's legacy.
