Services Offered

• Substance Use and Addiction Services: low-barrier alcohol and drug treatment, DUII treatment, anger management, domestic violence treatment, gambling treatment, harm reduction services, prevention programs, victim impact panels, parenting classes, certified recovery mentors, supported employment, and recovery housing.
• Child and Adolescent Services: individual and family counseling, parent-child interaction therapy, medication management, parenting classes, peer services, processing, skills, and peer groups, individual skills training, WRAP systems of care, intensive in-home behavioral health treatment, intensive care coordination, and intellectual developmental care coordination.
• Adult Services: individual and family counseling, treatment, education and support groups, community health workers, peer services, skills training, supported employment, supported education, medication management, exceptional needs care coordination, program housing, and intellectual developmental care coordination.
• Medication Management and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT): medication management, MAT, and medication injections to support clients in recovery.
• Crisis and Intensive Services: 24-hour community-based mobile crisis assessments, assertive community treatment, early assessment support alliance, forensics case management and treatment, medication management, supported employment, residential and psychiatric hospitalization.

Locations and Facilities

Lifeways operates several facilities across Oregon and Idaho to deliver these services.

• Lifeways Psychiatric Hospital: Located in Boise, Idaho, this 16-bed acute care hospital addresses a wide range of psychiatric conditions including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and other severe mental illnesses. The hospital provides intensive treatment including medication management, psychotherapy, individual and group therapy, skills training, activity therapy, and support in community reintegration.
• Lifeways Recovery Center: Situated in Ontario, Oregon, this co-ed residential treatment program offers a person-centered, individualized approach to substance abuse treatment. The program includes treatment planning, group and individual therapy, medication assistance, and mental health enhancement services. Residents participate in community activities such as church services, self-help groups, and recreational activities.
• Lifeways McNary Place: Located in Umatilla, Oregon, this facility provides residential treatment and telemedicine services for adults with mental health issues. Treatment approaches include activity therapy, behavior modification, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, group therapy, individual psychotherapy, psychotropic medication, and trauma therapy.
