Position: The Georgian Hotel – Pastry Cook
About: The Georgian Hotel, located in Santa Monica, is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Pastry Cook to join their culinary team. The culinary team at The Georgian Hotel collaborates to create unique pastry items and seasonal menus, ensuring high-quality service to guests in a picturesque setting by the ocean.
Requirements: Three to six months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Food Handlers Certification required. Ability to switch tasks quickly and often. Ability to work as a part of a team. Ability to accurately follow recipes and instructions. Knowledge, understanding and ability to apply fundamental techniques of preparing pastries and baked goods. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. Schedules vary based on business needs.
