Position: Special Events & Catering Supervisor – Golf
About: Cleveland Metroparks is seeking a Special Events & Catering Supervisor to oversee and coordinate a variety of special events within the Enterprise Division. This role involves managing event details from client inquiries to final execution, collaborating with internal teams to create tailored event experiences, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills for delivering outstanding events.
Requirements: Education and Experience: Associate’s degree in hospitality management, event planning, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred); at least two years of experience in event planning or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Certifications: Willingness and ability to obtain TIPS Alcohol or ServSafe Certification and First Aid/CPR certification within the first six months of employment. Other Qualifications: Valid driver’s license; knowledge of safe food service operations, event logistics, point-of-sale systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software; strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills; ability to work independently, manage budgets, and build effective relationships; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
