Position: Sous Chef job
About: The Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Resort at the Convention Center is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join their culinary team. This role plays a crucial part in managing kitchen operations, upholding culinary standards, and ensuring top-notch food preparation in various dining areas within the property, including banquets, room service, and restaurants. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to create memorable dining experiences and maintain high-quality guest satisfaction.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or relevant certification preferred; proven experience in kitchen management and culinary operations; strong leadership skills with a focus on creativity and quality; ability to effectively collaborate with kitchen teams and executive chefs; in-depth knowledge of food safety standards and compliance; experience in budgeting, resource management, and staff development
