Position: Sous Chef job
About: Potawatomi Marketplace, a fast-paced and high-energy culinary environment focused on producing superior food products, is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join their team. The Sous Chef will assist the Potawatomi Marketplace Chef in leading the back-of-house team, ensuring food quality standards, and maximizing guest satisfaction through impeccable service and adherence to culinary standards and values.
Requirements: The ability to demonstrate advanced cooking skills is required; a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a professional restaurant, hotel, or club kitchen are required; previous supervisory experience is preferred; successful attainment of ServSafe certification within 90 days; proficiency in office skills and Microsoft Office; discretion in handling confidential information; professional interaction with guests and team members; flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays; physical ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment, including lifting and prolonged standing.
