Position: Sous Chef job
About: Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa, located in Central Florida, is a beautiful lakefront resort offering a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement for guests visiting the world-famous theme parks and attractions in the area.
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years in culinary management or similar role; a diploma from a certified culinary academy is preferred but not required; must obtain and maintain a Food Manager Certification; proven ability to manage and motivate a team while maintaining a positive, high-energy work environment; a love for food, flavor, and innovation with the ability to contribute fresh ideas to menus; strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining food quality and safety; remain calm under pressure and find solutions that enhance service and efficiency; proficiency in butchering, charcuterie, sauces, stocks, and other advanced culinary techniques
