Position: SOUS CHEF (EXEMPT)

About: Renaissance Baton Rouge is seeking a full-time Sous Chef to join their dynamic culinary team. The Sous Chef will report to the Executive Sous Chef/Executive Chef and will be responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and efficiency of food preparation in the kitchen. This role involves providing training, maintaining standards, enforcing regulations, and optimizing guest satisfaction in a high-paced culinary environment.

Requirements: At least 4 years of progressive culinary experience or a culinary graduate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a hotel or related field; knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules, liquor laws, and regulations
