Position: Sous Chef- Brew Brother`s (Reno)
About: The company is looking for a Sous Chef who will be responsible for working the line, covering for breaks, vacations, changeovers, and callouts. The Sous Chef is the next in command after the Assistant Room Chef in the absence of the Room Chef. The role requires maintaining high levels of quality and professionalism at all times.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of cooking experience with some supervisory experience; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; proficient in MS Word and Excel; good working knowledge of computer software; knowledge of kitchen line positions, equipment use, cleaning, and breakdown; strong sanitation and safety practices; ability to work in a noisy, dynamic kitchen environment with varied temperatures; flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
