Position: Sommelier job
About: A fine dining restaurant is seeking a Sommelier to work closely with the management team in developing and maintaining a successful wine program throughout the property, enhancing the guest experience and restaurant profitability.
Requirements: At least two years previous experience working in a fine dining restaurant; Full working knowledge of wine, including taste, varietals, regions, climates, and winemaking processes; Excellent communication skills; Ability to interact effectively with individuals or small groups; Knowledge of cuisine menu; Advanced knowledge of wine and liquor service techniques; Professional appearance; At least 21 years of age; Sommelier certification preferred; Ability to communicate effectively in English, bilingual preferred; Obtain and maintain all required work cards; Verify eligibility to work in the United States
