Position: Senior Manager – Yale Conferences & Events
About: Yale Conferences & Events (YC&E) – Summer Conferences is seeking a Senior Manager to join their team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for securing revenue-generating programs, enhancing client relationships, and optimizing operational efficiencies to support Yale’s academic and financial objectives. This role involves event strategies, staffing, and project management aligned with YC&E’s mission.
Requirements: Minimum requirement of Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and three years of experience; highly proficient at managing multiple priorities and exceeding client expectations; proven ability to build trust with clients and constituencies, exceptional leadership skills, and strong problem-solving abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills with superior interpersonal skills; self-starter with strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively and independently; advanced knowledge of hospitality industry preferred with a Bachelor’s Degree and five years of related experience; experience in program development and sales; ability to manage full-time staff effectively
